Currently based in Hong Kong (after living in Shanghai for 2.5 years), I work as a PR consultant in CSR and Sustainability at a global independent PR firm. I support our CSR & Sustainability network at the regional level, which allows me to have great exposure to regional and global trends and best practices. I believe that Sustainability and CSR play a key role in the new 360° communication model, powered by the rise of the two C word(s): Citizen renaissance and Conversation age.
I was first turned to the power of Sustainability, CSR and ‘ecopowerment’ during my studies at Science Po in France (Institute of Political Studies) when I got to know more about the ’social contract’ existing between companies and their stakeholders, in a context of declining trust (we’ve hit the bottom today I guess) and the rise of the Internet-facilitated activism and citizen/consumer empowerment.
After writing my final thesis on this topic, I moved on with a Master’s on Business Management and Sustainable Development which eventually brought me to China to live the best enlightening and thrilling experience of my life, first for studies and then for work..
Well, to conclude, I am also fond of new (and old) media, politics and international relations.
To know more about me, you can google me, check my academic and professional background here, read my thesis here (in French only) or follow me. Or just simply email me: bouhanaperrine@yahoo.fr .
And I almost forgot simple things about my non-digital ID: my name is Perrine Bouhana, and I am a French national.
